Hi, can I integrate the Wyze Lock with Home Assistant?

Around 2:20 when he says we know when you're not home because of your GPS I mean location. It just sounds creepy like we know where you are at all times.

I now have a Wyze sense kit. WOW! When the front door opens, I have the Wyze bulb turn on in my bedroom, alerting me that someone just came in or left. LOVE IT! Wyze plugs will be here next week. Can't wait for what I can do with those!

Will you be incorporating Apple Watch support? Would be nice to have, in situations where I step outside my home without my iPhone and I am not carrying my keys but...happen to be wearing my Apple Watch (which I do most of time). With the auto-lock the feature (and prior to your keypad release) can I potentially lock myself out of my house if I am not carrying my iPhone or keys with me?

How does it physically turn the deadbolt? I saw in the installation manual that you removed the thumb handle plate, but I didn't see anything protruding out the back of the Wyze Lock , that would go *into the door frame area* and turn the deadbolt mechanism.

Could please work to increase the bandwidth, camera quality and audio quality of these AMA's in the future. There are times when we can't understand you.

I was just thinking what would be cool for you guys to offer, that other companies don’t for smart lock settings. I think the keypad and texting smart codes option is cool. But I’m in a stepparent situation where my wife’s ex-husband can’t be trusted and you don’t always want to reveal too much information to the kids because you know their father will see it and try to use it to his advantage. And I’m sure that in today’s world there are other families probably in this situation and could benefit from the extra care. But I think it would be cool if you could share the smart lock with a child, but have a setting that restricts the child from locking it or unlocking it remotely. That way the other parent couldn’t take the phone from the child and open and close your locks randomly to harass you. I think it would be nice if it would only allow the child’s phone to auto unlock the door when they reach the house and here’s the key....only during certain time periods. That way the exe can’t try to violate the custody arrangement and then drop the child off earlier than the court-ordered time and have the children come in the house and be alone by themselves. This way the exe can’t try to leave the kids there anytime they want and force the other parent to leave work early just to make sure the children are safe and aren’t going to destroy the house while you’re not there. Or....if none of that makes sense, how bout with the texting a code feature, what if it was able to generate random codes? That way the exe won’t see a code sent to the kids that maybe your wife created for them (maybe some code or pin your wife uses for other accounts) and then that gives the ex-husband the idea to type that same pin into other sites and possibly hack her accounts. This all probably sounds drama-ridden and silly, but as my wife’s husband and protector, these are some of the things I worry about when it comes to giving our kids access to certain things. It’s like you have to be extra careful because of their father and I feel like most companies just assume everyone in your family is working with you instead of against you. I just think it would be nice if the lock could be shared, but with an option for minimal access to certain security items, in case your child is around others who can’t be trusted with your info.

HELP : Wyze Cam v2 Audio pick up(mic)is too sensitive even at lowest setting( 1 )and gives a very noticable feedback. -vice versa, cam speaker is too loud and is getting picked up by mic thus creating a very distorted sound.. any fix for this? I hope im not the only one having this issue.. Im really happy with my purchase since video quality is very clear and crisp. Plus installation and setup is very easy not to mention the very user-friendly app. Please patch/fix/resolve audio problem.

Mike, I have a question re: the auto lock & auto unlock ... First of all, i think it is a smart great feature ... I love not digging for my keys when i leave my home and when i get home ... So my first question ... In the morning, i leave for work ... obviously it auto. lock as soon as i leave ... great ... now can my elderly parents still inside unlock and lock the door manually ? 2nd question ... I am thinking about installing this Wyze smart lock on the interior door to my garage ( the door inside the house to my garage ) ... Now a lot of time, at home, my parents or/& I would go to the garage to grab something ... so would this lock auto lock whenever someone goes to the garage ... sometimes the phone would be on me, sometimes it won't be ...

What if we lost electricity in case of power failure? Will I be locked out?

You'd think the fact that Wyze makes cameras, and has a great backdrop in the launch video of wyze lock, that their live stream would be a bit better than 480p with constant stuttering. Other note: WHY CANT WE USE DESKTOP TO CONTROL/USE WYZE?!?!?

I see the lock used Zigbee. How does this integrate with a Phillips Hue hub?

Re: Auto-unlock. How do you handle the issue of GPS drift? While I am home my GPS position can change by as much as several blocks depending on how weak my GPS signal is. Because of this sometimes my IOT enables light automations are triggered. It’s one thing for a light to turn on or off and quite another for my door to unlock!

The integrated door sensor is exciting! Wasn’t crazy about drilling into my door frame for another lock, but couldn’t use the adhesive door sense as my dogs kept knocking it off. I’m also excited about the Google integration specifically as I have my locks set up with other devices in routines such as good morning & goodnight. Using Siri Shortcuts I’m able to use Google Assistant too. So just FYI for all the HomeKit users out there you can still use Siri at least if you go that route with shortcuts and the GA app. Just add the pin to unlock in the GA command.

So this lock does not need WIFI? I need it for a building that doesn't have it.

Does it work with Samsung SmartThings hub? Can we create guest codes? Does it integrate with Airbnb and other rental companies?

Great job, always been excited for your company growth and new products to come. keep up the Great Work! Downside since day 1 thow we can't back you up here in Canada on your web site. Maybe some day you will give us a chance to pre order items before launch. Or just remove the notification on the Wyze Cam app, of new products to come in the Canada app.

I love your products! I have a PanScan pointed at my driveway, a V2 pointed at my back yard as a critter cam, & a Wyze bulb in my articulating desk lamp. Everything was SO easy to set up. I'm not a very "tech-smart" guy, yet I've have NEVER had to call tech support. I was going to order the black V2 today. Now the Wyze Lock?! AMAZING! When I get the funds, I'm gonna buy every device you guys sell!

Any chance a smartthings integration could be in the future?

This is GREAT for APARTMENT dwellers, where management require apartment Complex Locks be on their MASTER Key system. Great Thinking WYZE.

If people are thinking about buying Wyze products. Trust me. Just do it. Products are amazing and affordable. I would buy stock in this company.

You will have to beat out August Lock for me to consider your lock product as an alternative. It works seamlessly with HomeKit and is very secure.

If your phone powers off while you are home and then powers back on would that trigger the Auto Unlock? Just asking because many phones restart after software updates.

Can you install a Wyze lock in a new doo, ie. is there jamb hardware included?
